RE:                 MAR Development and Plans for 2005

 

  1. In several meetings in January to February, 2005, I have asked permission from the residents to allow me to broadcast the MAR in the Internet, particularly to share them to the MCCCAR and other egroups.  Permission has been granted.
  2. There have been positive responses to our MAR.
  3. We will embark on a paper publication of the 2004 MAR with the help of Clinical Clerk Elvie Razon.   Plans: 20 selected MAR and of good quality that can compete for the Anvil and Quill’s awards in 2006.
  4. I enjoin all consultants to participate in the MAR, particularly, the three Assistant Chairs.  I have been writing my MAR since we started the project in 2004.
  5. As agreed upon, the 2005 MAR will be from February to November, with each resident, fellow, and officer of the department (other consultants are encouraged to join) contributing one MAR per month.
